CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY
Although at this time, we do not charge a cancellation or no-show fee, we ask that you please, out of common courtesy, let us know as soon as your plans have changed. Especially during the busy holiday and vacation periods, we always have a waiting list. The sooner you tell us, the sooner we can accommodate someone else that is waiting for a room for their dog(s). Thank you.
Required Treatments and Vaccinations
Canine Distemper, Rabies, Bordatella, Heartworm Test (within the last 12 months), Fecal Test (within the last 12 months). MUST be current on Heartworm Preventative and Flea and Tick Control.**Please keep in mind, we are out in the country and although we mow our trails and spray for ticks, we can’t guarantee there will be zero hitchhikers. This is why we need your dog to be on flea and tick preventative. Also, keep in mind the preventatives do not always deter the ticks although they will kill them once they bite.
You will need to email a copy of the vet records proving all is current, prior to the drop off date. Please email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Dogs that have not been vaccinated at least 72 hours prior to arrival can not be accepted under any circumstances. Age waivers and titers tests signed by a licensed veterinarian are acceptable.
All dogs must be free of external parasites (fleas, ticks, etc.), and must be on preventives.
We strive to be flea-free!! If your dog is not current on flea preventative or if we find fleas on your dog, we will administer Capstar. The cost is $5.00 per visit. More information about Capstar is available here.
Drop off and Pick up
Please keep your dog on a leash when dropping them off. Be sure that your dog has a collar with an ID tag on it. We will provide Martingale collars to prevent your dog from slipping out of their collar on the walks on the nature trail.
Dogs may be picked up or dropped off between 7:00am and 6:00pm. Please give us a time to expect you so we can be sure your dog’s room is ready. Regular drop-off times are between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. For drop-offs before 3:00pm, there will be a $15 daycare fee for one dog and $7 for each additional dog in the family. Security is very important to us so for your protection, and the protection of your dog, only the owner or a person listed as the authorized pick up person will be able to pick up your pet.
You are welcome to stop by for a tour, but please make an appointment so we can work out a schedule that works for everyone as all of our time is devoted to the care of our guests.

Starting November 1, 2014 the rates will be $32 a night for one dog, $17 for additional dog in same room and $25 for additional room. We strive to be flea-free!! If your dog is not current on flea preventative or if we find fleas on your dog, we will administer Capstar. The cost is $5.00 per visit. More information about Capstar is available here.
What will my dog’s day look like?
Every dog gets a quick potty break first thing in the morning around 7:00 – 7:30 am, then they get to enjoy their breakfast in their own private room. Around 9:00 am, we start giving nice long nature walks or playtime in the yard. They will get at least 1 more walk and/or yard time before dinner. Dinner is served between 5:30 – 6:00 pm. Everyone gets a quick potty break before bedtime and then get tucked in with a bedtime treat around 9:00 pm. Someone is on the property 24/7 to ensure your pet’s safety.
What do I need to bring for my dog?
We can provide mats in each room. We also keep plenty of water and food bowls on hand, so you don’t need to bring yours. We ask that you provide your own food as not to upset your dog’s diet and cause upset stomach or diarrhea and to help us keep our fees low. Please bring enough food to last a few extra days just in case something comes up and they need to stay longer.
Feel free to bring safe toys (Nylabones, Kongs, etc) and blankets from home to make them feel even more comfortable. No rawhide bones please. We don’t recommend them in any situation. This is why.
Also, we don’t recommend that you bring their nice, expensive beds. Dogs sometimes behave differently in boarding and may shred their bedding. If they do so, we will remove it so as to prevent any choking hazard.
Can you give my dog his or her medication during their stay?
Absolutely. And we don’t charge extra for it either. We cannot give injections at this time, but all other medication administration is are fine and free!
Do you have breed restrictions?
No way! We refuse to discriminate against any breeds. Every dog is handled as an individual.
Do you accept aggressive dogs?
It depends. If your dog is aggressive towards people, we may not be able to accept them prior to some outside training. If your dog is nervous, you may schedule your dog for a visit prior to staying with us to make sure he is comfortable with our staff.
If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs, we can still board them, however there will be no play time with other dogs…though your dog will get plenty of walks and attention from us.
What do you do to prevent bloat?
Bloat is not completely avoidable, but we do what we can to prevent it. We do not allow vigorous exercise for about 30 minutes before a meal and for about 60 minutes after a meal. We also try not to let them gulp up too much water during or after hard play.
When do I pay?
At this time, we just ask that you pay when you pick up your dog. You are welcome to pay beforehand as well.
